Potential New Use For Oral GABA Supplements?

I was looking into whether or not GABA crosses the blood/brain barrier tonight (it does, just not very quickly), and came across a very interesting old study (reference 7 in the link). It looks like the research was reported in a book published in 1960, and found that 3 grams per day of oral GABA supplements significantly lowered blood pressure in human subjects without suppressing heart rate.

Does anyone out there happen to have a copy of Inhibition In the Nervous System and Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid that I can borrow? I promise I’ll take good care of it.
